Such services shall however target the traditionally under-served populations like Nigerians and other African immigrants whose worldviews and way of life are often in dissonance from the Western worldviews and way of life.
  • To work collaboratively with others in the orientation of new immigrants, especially Nigerian, to the American way of life. To educate new immigrants about the American legal, social, economic and educational systems in order to enrich the totality of their immigration experience and to minimize the adverse effects of immigration.
  • To educate recent immigrants on the vast mental health and social service resources available to them in the United States, and to draw their attention to the benefits they can derive from utilizing such services.
  • To work collaboratively with child welfare professionals to reduce the incidents of child maltreatment amongst immigrant populations, especially amongst Nigerians.

  • To fight against TRIBALISM, NEPOTISM, and SECTIONALISM which have been the bane of the development of Nigeria.
  • To influence the creation of an effective social welfare system in Nigeria that will act as a safety net for the unemployed or underemployed, the disabled, the elderly and other vulnerable members of society.
